SAE GRANTS
The Idaho FFA Foundation is excited to partner with Wells Fargo to offer $80,000 in SAE Grants for Idaho FFA Members.
- Idaho FFA members must complete one of the following to be eligible to apply:

- Participate in an Idaho FFA Foundation financial education workshop (State Convention, April 2026)
- Hear from a financial guest speaker in class (arranged with their FFA Advisor)
- Complete courses online through HandsOnBanking.org

Applicants will need to allow ample time to complete the eligibility requirements ahead of the deadline.
A major component of the application includes an essay detailing lessons learned through gaining new financial knowledge and how it will benefit SAE projects.
Each SAE Grant will be a total of $250, $500, $750, or $1,000.
Applications open September 23, 2026 and are due November 13, 2026.

FFA Advisors: If you’re interested in hosting a guest speaker in your classroom, please contact Katelyn Alexander at Programs@GrowIdahoFFA.org at least four weeks ahead of your preferred date so she can coordinate with you and local guest speakers. Each SAE Grant awards range from $250-$1,000.
Idaho FFA members are eligible to apply each year that they are a high school student.

Idaho FFA Foundation is excited to partner with the Eastern Idaho Agriculture Hall of Fame (EIAHF) to offer SAE Grants for Idaho FFA Members for 2026-2027.
Each SAE Grant amounts range from $250-$1,000.
Idaho FFA members are eligible to apply each year that they are a high school student. Must be from a good-standing Idaho FFA Chapter in one of these Eastern Idaho counties: Bannock, Bear Lake, Bingham, Bonneville, Butte, Caribou, Clark, Custer, Franklin, Fremont, Jefferson, Lemhi, Madison, Oneida, Power, and Teton.
Applications require an essay about an inspiring EIAHF Inductee. See list of inductees here.

SAE projects are integral to the FFA program which gives students hands-on experiential learning project in specific focus areas providing them with valuable skills and experience necessary for success in that field. Grants are given to students to help them with project costs such as feed, vaccinations, show supplies, equipment or anything else that helps further the students success with their projects.
